Devlog #6: Is This It?

Nope, it's not, there's one milestone left (omg!!!1), but this is our last devlog (oh no :c)
HELLO MAQUIFANS (and happy pride month)!!! In our last devlog, we bring you a handful of neat upgrades, ranging from a new additions, new graphics and some good ol' bug squashing. So, let's get into the beginning of the end, the long goodbye.
Gameplay
- Defense (new stat): this new addition to the brave survivors allows them to better resist the damage inflicted by zombies. Is it better than raw HP? We don't know! But it definitely makes calculating stuff easier.
- Vitamine (new item): a new goodie to acquire on the shop. Just like in real life, it increases your defense.
- Zombie stats scaling: as the game progresses and waves increase, stats for zombies like HP and speed increase proportional to the current wave.
- Not all items are made equal: every item has it's own probability of appearing in the shop. This makes particularly strong items rarer.
- Nothing is forever (dopamine nerfed): now dopamine works for the player that bought it only for one wave.
Visuals
- Tileset?: a cozy and slightly-color crashing tileset has been added to the main room. This is not a definitive change, we are trying our best!
- Victory Screen (cool and awesome): when you complete a wave, a colorful and cheery victory screen shows up. You still can't actually win the game, so it is only a momentary lapse of relief for the never-ending waves of zombies.
That, and way too many bugfixes to really mention on an organized list.
For our last iteration of this breathtaking videogame (there are currently NO devlogs left), we plan on adjusting and crunching the numbers of the scaling, so the game can be an enjoyable endless shooter, and tidying up the graphics.
